Itinerary
DAY 01
Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley – Through the Atlas Mountains and Ancient Kasbahs
Your journey begins in Marrakech, where your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and lead you toward the magnificent High Atlas Mountains. The road climbs steadily through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco, offering breathtaking views of rugged peaks, terraced hillsides, and traditional Berber villages.
Along the way, you will stop to admire the changing landscapes before reaching Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a remarkable example of traditional earthen architecture and has served as a backdrop for many international films.
After exploring the ksar, continue to Ouarzazate and through the Valley of Roses, where thousands of rose bushes bloom each spring. By late afternoon, arrive in the dramatic Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and winding roads.

DAY 02
Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga – Todra Gorge and the Golden Dunes of the Sahara
After breakfast, continue deeper into southern Morocco. The first major stop is Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon where towering cliffs rise more than 300 meters above a peaceful riverbed. Enjoy time to walk through the gorge and admire one of Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders.
The journey then continues through desert landscapes, palm groves, and small oasis towns. As you approach Merzouga, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi begin to appear on the horizon, creating one of the most memorable scenes of the entire trip.
In the late afternoon, exchange your vehicle for a camel trek into the heart of the Sahara. As the sun sets, the dunes glow in shades of gold and orange.
Arrive at your desert camp, where a traditional dinner awaits beneath a sky filled with stars.

DAY 03
Day 3: Merzouga Desert Exploration – A Full Day to Experience the Sahara
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a magical moment that reveals the vast beauty of the Sahara. After breakfast, return to the village by camel or 4×4.
This extra day in Merzouga allows you to experience the desert at a slower and more meaningful pace. You may visit nearby villages, explore palm groves, discover rocky desert landscapes, or simply relax and enjoy the silence of the dunes.
For many travelers, this day becomes the emotional highlight of the journey. Without the pressure of long driving hours, you can fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the desert and appreciate the ever-changing colors of the sand.
In the evening, enjoy another peaceful night in the Merzouga region.

DAY 04
Day 4: Merzouga to Fes – Crossing the Middle Atlas
After a final morning in the desert, leave the dunes behind and drive north through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The road passes through forested areas and open landscapes before reaching Ifrane, known for its clean streets and European-style architecture.
Continue to Fes, Morocco’s great imperial city. Upon arrival, transfer to your riad in or near the medina, where the group will spend the next two nights.
DAY 05
Day 5: A Day Exploring Fes
Spend a full day discovering Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Wander the labyrinthine alleys of Fes el-Bali, the world’s largest car-free urban area, and visit the famous Chouara Tanneries, the exterior of the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University — one of the oldest in the world — and the ornately carved Bou Inania Madrasa.
In the afternoon, browse the souks for leather goods, ceramics, and spices with your tour leader, or simply relax at your riad. Tonight is the group’s second night in Fes.
DAY 06
Day 6: Fes – Free Time and Departure
Your final day begins with breakfast at your riad in Fes. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping in the souks or a quiet coffee overlooking the medina.
Your group tour leader will help coordinate transfers for onward flights or travel, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through Morocco.
